Redmires Reservoirs

Three high moorland reservoirs on the city's western skyline, with big open views.

The three Redmires reservoirs sit at around 300 metres on the moors above Lodge Moor, feeding Sheffield's water supply and ringed by tracks along the water's edge.

It is a bleak, beautiful spot for a flat walk, with the old Roman road, Stanage Pole and the moorland path to Stanage Edge all leading off from here.
