Longshaw Estate

A National Trust estate of woods, moor and parkland on the Peak edge, with a tearoom.

Longshaw was a shooting estate for the Dukes of Rutland and is now National Trust land, with ancient woodland, a pond, packhorse bridges and open moor running up to Burbage and Padley Gorge.

There is a tearoom and shop by the lodge, waymarked walks of every length, and a famous autumn show of bracken and deer.
