Leopold Square is a quiet paved courtyard behind the Town Hall, formed by the handsome buildings of the old Sheffield Royal Grammar School and the former education offices.

The ground floors are now restaurants and bars with tables out across the square, lit with festoon lights in the evening — the most pleasant spot in the centre to eat outdoors.
