Sheffield City Hall
Grand 1930s concert hall behind a Corinthian colonnade, hosting touring music and comedy.
Opened in 1932, the City Hall's columned portico is one of the city's landmarks and its Oval Hall seats around 2,300 for orchestras, touring bands and comedy. The smaller Memorial Hall and the basement Ballroom handle club nights and one-off gigs.
It faces Barker's Pool and the war memorial, a two-minute walk from the Town Hall and the Peace Gardens.
