Cutlers' Hall
The grand home of the Company of Cutlers, opposite the cathedral, full of silver and history.
The Company of Cutlers in Hallamshire has governed Sheffield's blade trades since 1624, and its third hall, built in 1832 opposite the cathedral, is one of the finest interiors in the city — a sequence of banqueting rooms hung with chandeliers and lined with the company's silver collection.
It is a working venue rather than a museum, but it opens for tours, events and heritage open days.
