The Arts Tower
The tallest university building in the UK, with a paternoster lift that never stops moving.

Built in 1966 for the University of Sheffield, the Arts Tower is a 78-metre glass-and-steel slab, Grade II* listed and the tallest university building in the country. Inside runs the largest paternoster in the UK — a chain of open cabins that circulate continuously, and which you step into as it passes.
It stands beside Weston Park and the Western Bank campus, so it pairs naturally with Weston Park Museum and the Botanical Gardens walk.
