Alfred Denny Museum
A Victorian-style zoology museum of skeletons and specimens, open on selected days.
The Alfred Denny Museum is the University of Sheffield's teaching collection of zoology: cases of skeletons, preserved specimens, fossils and taxidermy, including a chimpanzee skeleton and an enormous python.
It opens to the public on advertised days and for booked tours, and it is a proper old-fashioned cabinet of curiosities rather than a polished visitor attraction.
