Step out of Sheffield station and the first thing you meet is the Cutting Edge: a ninety-metre curved blade of mirror-polished stainless steel with water running down its face, unveiled in 2006.
It is the city's most photographed piece of public art and the start of the Gold Route walk up through the Peace Gardens to the Devonshire Quarter.
