Meersbrook Park rises sharply from Chesterfield Road, and the bench-lined path across its top gives the classic view of the whole city laid out beneath the hills.

The park holds the Tudor Bishops' House museum and a community-run walled garden, and it is a short walk from the shops and cafes of Meersbrook and Heeley.
