Pound's Park
A brand-new city-centre park with water jets, play equipment and lawns, built on an old fire station site.

Opened in 2023 and named after Sheffield's first chief fire officer, Pound's Park turned the site of the old Wellington Street fire station into a green public space right in the middle of town.
It has interactive water jets that run through the warmer months, climbing and play structures for different ages, wide lawns and plenty of seating — the easiest place in the centre to let children run around.
