Peace Gardens
The city's front room: fountains, lawns and cascades beside the Town Hall, busy all summer.

The Goodwin Fountain's 89 jets and the stepped water cascades make the Peace Gardens the place Sheffield gathers when the sun is out. The bronze and enamel vessels around the edge represent molten steel pouring back into the ground.
It is framed by the Victorian Town Hall on one side and the Winter Garden entrance on the other, with cafes and restaurants under the Millennium Square colonnade.
