Meadowhall

One of the UK's largest shopping centres, with its own tram, train and bus interchange.

Meadowhall opened in 1990 on the site of a former steelworks and holds around 280 shops, a large dining quarter and a cinema under one roof.

It has its own interchange, so it is a straightforward tram or train ride from the city centre — useful on a wet day, and a common first stop for visitors arriving by train from the north.
