Ecclesall Road is the city's favourite eating-out street, a mile of independent restaurants, coffee shops, delis, bars and boutiques running south-west from the centre.

It passes the Botanical Gardens and General Cemetery and ends near Endcliffe Park, which makes for an easy afternoon of walking, browsing and lunch.
