Yorkshire Artspace runs Persistence Works, the first purpose-built artists' studio building in the UK, housing dozens of ceramicists, jewellers, silversmiths and sculptors in the Cultural Industries Quarter.
It is a working building rather than a gallery, but open studio events each spring and winter let visitors walk in, meet makers and buy directly from them.
