The Moor Market opened in 2013 and carries on a market tradition in Sheffield going back to the 13th century. Around 90 stalls cover fish, meat, cheese, fruit and veg, plus Caribbean, Polish and Middle Eastern grocers.
The eating counters around the edge are the reason to visit at lunchtime: proper pie and peas, fish and chips and a good coffee stall, all cheap.
