Rother Valley Country Park

Lakes, cycling and watersports across a big country park on reclaimed mining land.

Rother Valley covers 750 acres of lakes, meadow and woodland created from former opencast workings, with a long lakeside circuit popular with walkers, runners and cyclists.

The park runs sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking, hires bikes, and has a cafe, play areas and a golf course.
