Sheffield's largest ancient woodland, 350 acres of oak and birch with waymarked trails.

Ecclesall Woods covers around 350 acres of ancient semi-natural woodland on the south-west edge of the city, with charcoal-burning platforms, Q-pits and a woodland discovery centre among the trails.

There are bluebells in spring, three car parks, a cafe at the discovery centre, and easy links into the Limb valley and on towards the Peak District.
